Medical Package Delivery Driver
About the Role
Package Delivery Driver This is a physical, fast-paced, position that involves continual entering and exiting of
vehicles, lifting, lowering, and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 - 35 lbs and may weigh up to 50 lbs. Ability
to make between 50-150 stops per day utilizing a handheld scanner to track the deliveries. Drive on hilly terrain with
narrow roads and tight turns on the Berkeley Lab site. Vehicles utilized for deliveries include driving medium-sized
package vans and acting as lumper/loader on liftgate trucks. Specialized equipment utilized includes pallet jacks, hand
carts, and forklifts. The incumbent is required to practice a strong commitment to safety and possess a DOT Hazmat
