About the Role

American Welding and Gas, Inc. ("AWG") has an immediate opportunity for Counter Rep/Back-Up Delivery Driver in

Lafayette, IN. ***This position requires a CDL-B with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, or the ability to obtain both. ***

This position has the primary responsibility of assisting customers with purchasing and ordering products focusing on

gases and welding/industrial supplies. Duties will also include maintaining hardgoods, receiving and inventory control &

back -up cylinder delivery. Responsibilities: Assist customers in store and by phone to purchase and order products.

Handle cylinder returns, exchanges and purchases. Handle cash and charge account transactions. Reconcile cash, credit
